Apple is speculated to unveil three MacBook models in 2016 and rumors are rife about the specs and features of the upcoming 12-inch, 13-inch and 15-inch MacBooks.

According to reports, Apple is working on ultra-thin MacBook models after the March 21 event.

The Retina MacBook Pro rumors include smaller side bezels and a thinner chassis and the new MacBook Pro models are said to have a design like the 2015 12-inch MacBook. The 2016 MacBook Pro is speculated to be fueled by the newest Intel Skylake chipsets similar to top brands such as Microsoft, HP and Dell.

The 2015 MacBook sports a single USB-Type C slot which can work on multiple tasks such as connecting and charging peripherals but users had to use an adapter to take advantage of multiple ports. The upcoming MacBooks are now rumored to have more USB-Type C ports with Thunderbolt 3 with data transfer speeds of up to 40 GB.

Additionally, Apple could include an external graphics card support for better graphics so users would not have to spend more for a higher configuration.

The 13-inch MacBook Pro model is rumored to have a 256 GB base storage. It is also expected to feature the biometric recognition technology which increases access security and easier purchase authorization.

Siri is rumored to be part of the new MacBook and MacBook Pro 2016 models as it is expected to be in the next Mac OS X edition as well. This will deliver sports, weather and other information updates more quickly. Lastly, the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro 2016 are expected to be launched on June 13 at the World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC).
