‘Attack on Titan’ Game Launches in North America [VIDEO]

The 'Attack on Titan' game developed by Koei Tecmo will be released in North America on August 30.
Along with the announcement, a new trailer was revealed featuring the cast of the big hit anime and manga series. The game will be available on PS3, PS4, PlayStation Vita, PC and Xbox One.

The game will be released in Europe on August 26 labeled as 'AOT: Wings of Freedom.' Also the company noted that, "FYI, AOT: Wings of Freedom will be in English, French, German subtitles with Japanese voice," according to PlayStation Lifestyle.
The game was initially introduced in Japan and garnered positive support from the audience. Considering the game's success, Koei Tecmo decided to bring it over to North America.
The 'Attack on Titan' gameplay will reportedly be based on the anime's first season where extreme situations were shown, but in a way that players will be able to enjoywhile sticking to the original story.
Fans of the anime might have already the idea of how the game will turn out. However, those who just jumped into the craze will witness an interesting plot. The characters are humans that are trained to kill Titans who feed on human flesh. Moreover, slaying them requires accuracy and precision to hit a critical part of their neck.
"Attack on Titan closely follows the riveting storyline of the anime's first season and focuses on the exploits of various key characters, putting the player in a position to relive its most shocking, courageous and exhilarating moments," the game description reads. "It revolves around the story of three young people who survive the destruction of their walled city district by enormous, man-eating Titans and eventually go on to join the Scout Regiment in order to protect humanity from this overpowering foe."
