It appears there's finally some authentic information leaks that could shed more light on Heists DLC to GTA V Online coming in the next 1.17 update.
This follows many rumors and leaked information revolving around Rockstar releasing the most anticipated Heists DLC.
I mentioned in a previous article about a credible hacker enthusiast named "St3v3hacker" coming across leaked information in texture files of the 1.16 update that included new weapons like the thermite bomb.

Well Rockstar just confirmed that leaked info by making the mistake of releasing a photo of the thermite bomb, which can actually now be seen in the game.
In order to find it, go to the Stats tab in the menu inside GTA Online. Click down to weapons and then scroll all the way to the right until you get to the Firework Launcher. You'll see the thermite bomb.
Thermite bombs are the most powerful hand grenades used by U.S. soldiers. They can burn at up to 4,000 degrees Fahrenheit.
The weapons are perfect for blowing the doors off safes or holes in walls, so it makes the most sense the thermite bomb would be used in Heists missions.
Rockstar will most likely release the Army DLC on Veterans Day in November.
I'd assume Rockstar will release some sort of Halloween DLC in October (possibly including zombies), but that's just speculation. That leaves either September's 1.17 update or December's update for the Heists DLC, if Rockstar wants to release it this year like they promised.
Considering Rockstar has already inserted the thermite bomb into the game, it's not a far stretch to assume the thermite bomb along with the Heists DLC will be available as early as the next GTA V 1.17 update.
