It appears that the 2017 Audi R8 delivered what it had promised as scores of positive reviews immediately surfaced online.

The 2017 Audi R8 is looking to compete with cars from other established car manufacture like Mercedes and BMW. In order to achieve this tremendous feat, Audi needed to create the fastest and most powerful car it can muster.

Initial reviews of the 2017 Audi R8 highlighted just how fast the luxury car is. Some reviewers also pointed just how easy the car can be driven as well as its excellent handling

In a review, Bloomberg's Matthew Miller wrote that he was able to reach 183 miles per hour while driving the 2017 Audi R8 on the Daytona International Speedway.

Miller wrote, "Hitting those speeds on the banks was amazing for many reasons. First and foremost, it's a personal record. But also, I never realized that gravity pushes you down in your seat, rather than back, forcing you to look up and to the left since the road in front of you is also above you."

The 2017 Audi R8 sports a 5.2-liter V10 engine that has been praised by many critics for its sheer power and performance. The engine is capable of outputting up to 610 horsepower and 413 pound-foot worth of torque, making it Audi's most powerful engine to date.

The 2017 Audi R8 might be a powerful car, but it also costs quite a fortune. The standard model costs $189,000 and the price shoots up to as much as $202,750 when all the upgrades and perks are included.
