The two iPhone 6 sizes

A handset's screen-to-size ratio didn't use to matter much but that's not the case these days.

The ratio shows the efficiency of the front side of a smartphone and is used to determine how much of it was wasted by buttons, bezels and anything that's not touchscreen. The screen-to-seize ratio is also used to measure how compact the device is relative to the screen size.

Since the iPhone 6 started to be the hottest topic on the internet, rumors and speculations about its screen size becme rampant.

Apple is said to be moving out of its traditional fondness for small-screens to a bigger screen for its next-gen devices. Because of large-screen fans, the once-ignored screen-to-size ratio suddenly became a significant factor.

Some customers consider the screen size a deal changer these days.

According to a new leak, the screen-to-size ratio of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 appears to fare better than the iPhone 5S but is still behind most of its rivals.

The upcoming iPhone 6 will have a 4.7-inch display with 9:16 ratio with the screen about 2.3-inch in width and 4-inch or more in height. Compared to its competition, this is hardly impressive. Check the chart below:
