Apple confirms its next-gen flagship smartphone will be launched September along with the iWatch.

It's speculated the iPhone 6 release date will happen a week after the launch at the latest.

Recode's John Paczkowski reported the second Tuesday of September will see three new Apple devices.

He said Apple intends to launch a new wearable with two next-gen iPhones. Apple sent out invites for the launch event that will happen at the Flint Center for Performing Arts in Cupertino, California.

People expect that the tech giant will debut its new flagship iPhone but the company still declined to reveal anything. The invitation just said "Wish we could say more."

Several leaks supposedly indentify almost each feature of the new device.

Leaks claim the iPhone 6 will have one 4.7-inch and one 5.5-inch screen with curved edges, reversible USB cable and 128 GB of internal storage.

French tech website Nowhere Else also suggested that the new iPhone 6 model will come in gray, silver and gold.

Multiple leaked schematics also indicate that Apple intends to debut several new features in the handset, including a sapphire screen, near field communication or NFC, a 2 GHz A8 processor and 2 GB of RAM.

A few months ago, Apple watcher Mich-chi Kuo from KGI Securities said the first iOS phablet will be released on a later date because of production challenges.

He said the large-screen iPhone 6L will hit the shelves in December.

The iWatch is also said to be released later than the smaller iPhone 6 and is expected to be released at the same time the iPhone 6 phablet. The iPad Mini 3 and iPad Air 2 will likely be unveiled in October and ready to use by November or a couple of weeks after Sept. 19.
