Reports claim that the production of the long awaited DC superhero film, "Justice League Part 1," has already started in April. With that said, rumors about the film have been constantly popping out, and one of the rumors is that Willem Dafoe is going to play an underwater role in the said superhero movie.

The rumor sparked when the editor in chief of Birth Movies Death, Devin Faraci, said that his sources told him that Dafoe will fill the role of an Atlantean. However, Faraci did not reveal any more details of Dafoe's character, but he added that the award winning actor's role will be a "good guy."

Faraci also noted that critics pointed out that Jason Mamoa, who plays the role of Aquaman in the film "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice," was seen to be holding his breath. That is why the director of "Justice League Part 1" went back to scratch to sort things out. The sources of Faraci revealed that Snyder will now use a green screen and CGI to complete the underwater scenes of Aquaman.

Aside from the underwater scenes, it was also revealed by Faraci's sources that Snyder is also planning to shoot most of the scenes on set, thus, using the technique the director used when he filmed the hit 2006 movie "300." It is also said that this will allow Snyder to keep things a secret by keeping unofficial cameras from capturing any footage, Hofmag reported.

On the other hand, if Dafoe will be a part of the long awaited "Justice League Part 1" film, the actor will join other confirmed cast namely Ben Affleck (Batman/ Bruce Wayne), Henry Cavill (Clark Kent/Superman), Gal Gadot (Diana Prince/ Wonderwoman),  Ezra Miller (Barry Allen/ The Flash), Ray Fisher (Victor Stone/ Cyborg), Amy Adams (Lois Lane),  Amber Heard (Mera), J.K. Simmons (James Gordon), and Jeremy Irons (Alfred Pennyworth).

In regards to the release date of "Justice League Part 1," it has been reported that the DC superhero movie will premiere on November 2017.
