Since the first smartwatch by Apple was released in April 24, 2015, fans are wondering when the upgraded Apple watch will appear in the market. Fortunately, new details about the release date and possible new specs of Apple Watch 2 have made its way online.

Apple Watch 2 is rumored to be revealed at the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 2016) event of Apple, which will be held on June 13 in downtown San Francisco. The tech giant has yet to comment if they will be able to release the next generation smartwatch as early as June.

Even if Apple Watch 2's release date is not yet officially confirmed by the company, speculations about the smartwatch's specs seem to make more geeks interested in waiting the upcoming Apple smartwatch. Fresh reports indicate that the Apple Watch 2 will be 20 percent to 40 percent thinner than the first iteration of Apple smartwatch.

Other than the thickness of Apple Watch 2, no other extreme changes will be seen, Apple analyst Ming Chi-Kuo confirmed. Ming even stated that Apple enthusiasts should not expect design changes to the upcoming Apple Watch 2; however, fans should expect new features and specs to the new smartwatch.

Apple even posted a job listing recently looking for a health specialist, which clearly indicates that the new Apple Watch 2 will be incorporated with health features. It is said that Apple is committed to deliver a smartwatch that can improve the health of its users, as Apple Watch 2 will act as an alert system that notifies its users of a potential health problem.
