Motorola, Inc. unveiled the latest versions of its Moto X and Moto G flagship smartphones on Friday in a launch event in India.
The smartphone manufacturer brought a treat for its consumers with news the new Moto G will retail for as low as US$179.99.
Moto X, which will be available later this month, has a full retail price of only US$499.99 and a carrier price subsidized at US$99.99.

Motorola updated its flagship Moto X launched just a year ago with an even better successor version: Moto X, not Moto X+1 as previous reports said.
"For starters, it looks good," said technology blog, The Verge.
The trick came as Motorola turned its attention to details, making the new Moto X seemingly appear small with its 5.2-inch display. Motorola added new colors and materials such as wood and leather finishes to the design.
The Android phone has a metal frame in full HD resolution with a pixel density of 423 ppi. It also runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat in a 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor. It also has a 13-megapixel rear camera with a ring flash.
The new features of Moto X include improved voice controls that allow users to interact with the phone without touching it. It has four mics and the phone's 2300 mAh battery has new turbo charging feature that gives users the benefit of 8 hours usage with 15 minutes of charging.
The 16GB and 32GB versions of Moto X will hit the U.S. first at the end of September.
The new Moto G arrives with a bigger screen than the original 4.5-inch Moto G that has become the bestselling Motorola phone to date, according to previous reports.
Moto G has a 1280 x 720 resolution for a pixel density of 294 ppi; KitKat 4.4.4 OS; 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and a single and dual SIM variants.
Users can choose from its 8 GB and 16 GB storage options with improved 8 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front-facing camera. The phone also has an added microSD slot that can support cards up to 32 GB.
Meanwhile, the second generation Moto G is currently out internationally at a wallet-friendly price.
