Mariah Carey and James Packer's wedding is just around the corner and as her big day nears, the singer has revealed that she's put herself on a "bleak" diet before the wedding.

When the We Belong Together singer sat down with The Talk co-host Sharon Osbourne, she revealed how she's been prepping for her nuptials

"I've been pretty consistent with this bleak diet that I am on," she said. "You know, it was the whole situation that made me want to try and be better for all. And then we do have to get fittings and dresses!"

Nevertheless, Mariah Carey admitted that apart from her wedding to James Packer, there are so many things happening and things are getting a little bit daunting. There's a lot on my plate," the singer added.

Wedding preparations aside, Mariah Carey also opened up about her love life and claimed that she wasn't looking for a new relationship after her split from ex-husband Nick Cannon. However, she added that the spark she felt while spending time with James was hard to miss.

"We were talking and having a good time and I was like, 'This guy is really fun.' So it was nice," the singer gushed about the billionaire.

However, it seems there are still issues that need to be resolved before Mariah and James tie the knot. A report from TMZ claimed that the singer and Cannon are yet to finalize their divorce, as previously reported.

The estranged couple separated in August 2014, and The America's Got Talent host filed for divorce four months later.

The exes have reportedly settled their property and custody agreement but Cannon has not yet signed on the papers. The report even claimed that the TV show host did not want Mariah to go through with her wedding to James.
