(Photo : YouTube) AMD has unveiled its roadmap for the release of its latest line of graphics cards.

As the official launch date of the AMD Radeon RX 480 draws closer, several online retailers have opened pre-orders for the upcoming video card in China.

One of the most popular online outlets where interested buyers can place their pre-orders is JD.com. The online seller has posted several 8GB reference models of the RX 480, all of which are priced at 1999 Yuan (about $310). All of the cards posted on the online store come with the same set of specifications with only slight variations in terms of design.

While the prices are a bit steep compared to the United States, tech analysts have noted that prices tend to be hiked up when products are released in international markets. Pre-orders for the RX 480 is also available on several international retailers, with prices ranging from $250 to $300.

Recently, a photo of an XFX branded Radeon RX 480 video card surfaced online. The leaked photo fueled speculations that after-market video card manufacturers are ready to release their versions of the RX 480 and are only waiting for the officially release date from AMD. Based on the leaked photo, it appears that the XFX model uses the reference design of the graphics card but has a shorter PCD. It also has a blower-type cooler and a full cover backplate.

Meanwhile, AMD has confirmed that its line of Polaris 10 graphics cards will support DVI connections. However, the port will not be installed on the reference model. Instead, AMD will put connections on the circuit board, and it is up to third party manufacturers to decide if they want to incorporate a DVI slot on their versions of the RX 480.
