Alcatel Idol 4 Smartphone to Arrive on Cricket Wireless on August 5 Bundled With VR Headset

Chinese smartphone maker Alcatel has announced that its latest device - the Alcatel Idol 4 - will soon to arrive in the United States via Cricket Wireless. The device is expected to be available on Cricket Wireless starting August 5 next month bundled with a VR Headset.
Since Cricket Wireless is a prepaid carrier service provider, there are no long-term contracts to sign on. The Alcatel Idol 4 smartphone will be bundled with a VR headset in the package priced at $199.99 (approximately Rs. 13,441.02 / 1335.60 Yuan).

The Alcatel Idol 4 smartphone features a 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) LTPS IPS LCD screen. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 617 processor paired with Adreno 405 GPU. It comes equipped with a massive 3 GB of RAM onboard and has a built-in 16GB internal memory storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card.
The Idol 4 smartphone sports a 13-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel front facing camera for selfies. The device runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box along with Alcatel's customized user interface. It is backed by a non-removable 2,610 mAh capacity battery inside.
The Idol 4 boasts of front-facing stereo speakers with 3.6W output. The device measures a body dimension of 147 x 72.5 x 7.1 mm (5.79 x 2.85 x 0.28 in) and weighs 135 gram (4.76 oz). The connectivity options of the device include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GSM / HSPA / LTE, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.2, and microUSB v2.0.
The Alcatel Idol 4 smartphone will be available on Cricket in Dark Gray, Gold, Rose Gold, and Metal Silver color.
