Huawei Honor Note 8 Boasts of 6.6-inch 2K AMOLED Display

Chinese tech giant Huawei has unveiled its Honor Note 8 device which boasts of a 6.6-inch 2K AMOLED display.
The most noticeable spec of the Huawei Honor Note 8 is its display size coupled with 2K resolution and AMOLED technology. AMOLED is favored by giants like Samsung for its energy efficiency compared to the more traditional LCD screens.

The Huawei Honor Note 8 is likely to appeal to users who prefer to use the device for multimedia functions, ebooks, and multi-tasking which can be easily done through the device's split screen feature.
The Huawei Honor Note 8 is powered by a Kirin 955 chipset with an octa-core processor, 4GB of memory, and up to 128GB of expandable storage, according to Giz China. The Honor Note 8 is also available in 32GB and 64GB models.
The Huawei Honor Note 8 has a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie shots. The device also has a fingerprint scanner and will most likely run on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
The 128GB model of the Honor Note 8 will cost $442. The 64GB and 32GB models will cost $376 and $346, respectively.
According to Android Community, the Huawei Honor Note 8 will most likely make its debut in the United States on Aug. 16.
