About a week ago, Wu released a statement confirming rumors that she and her year-long boyfriend, Terry Chan, have broken up. There were speculations that the breakup was caused by a third party.
However, the 34-year old actress was quick to shoot down the rumors regarding the third party. She told the media that the cause of their break up was mainly differences in their personalities.
"It's all false," Wu said, according to Jaynestars, adding that there was no third party in her relationship with Chan. "Personality differences," the actress stated when asked about the reason behind the split.
The actress assured the public that she is doing well after coming from a vacation following the break up, according to Asianpop News.
The actress, who recently attended a promotional event for "A Fist Within Four Walls," said that she did not shed tears after breaking up with Chan.
"It's not my first time dating," Wu stated and shared that her experiences "makes her mature," adding that she does not dwell on negativity.
When asked if she was able to let go of Chan, the actress answered that she has nothing she couldn't let go of. She thanked the public for their concern and told them not to worry about her.
On the other hand, it was also reported that her relationship with Chan fell apart because she was allegedly forcing him to marry her. Wu denied the allegations and said that she prioritizes her career above everything else.
As for her former flame, Wu asked the media to give him space and not to bother him, according to reports.
