Chinese smartphone manufacturer INew has released the INew U8W, a unique smartphone that combines affordability and decent specs.
The chassis of the iNew U8W is built from a combination of plastic and thin metal frame. The iNew U8W has a good finish and has good quality material despite being very affordable. The U8W is available in several colors, including red, rose gold, and gray.

According to Giz China, the iNew U8W has a 5.5-inch display screen that sports the now common 2.5D curve. Powering the device is the MediaTek MT6580 chipset with a quad-core processor 1GB of memory and 8GB of storage space. The device supports dual SIM and has a 2500mAh battery pack which should be powerful enough to power the smartphone for at least a full day.
The iNew U8W has an 8-megapixel rear facing camera and a 2-megapixel front facing camera for taking selfies. The camera has autofocus, f2.2 aperture, and flash. On the software side, the phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Perhaps one important feature that iNew missed on the U8W is 4G support. Unfortunately, the iNew U8W only supports 2G and 3G networks. The phone has a micro-USB port for charging and data transfer. It also has the conventional 3.5mm audio jack which is located on the top edge of the device.
For those who wants to have an affordable Android experience, the iNew U8W is a good choice. The phone retails for $65.99.
