Chinese basketball has been popping in online wires the past few weeks, particularly about 2015 NBA Draft prospect Emmanuel Mudiay. The 6'5" combo-guard, who decided to forgo playing in the NCAA and instead immerse himself in international play with the Guangdong Southern Tigers in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA), is a projected top-5 pick. However, Chinese fans and NBA scouts, have been raving about another player as of late. Someone with a 7'2" frame.

Either one of two things will happen Saturday night when the dust settles at UFC 188. One, UFC Heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez wins and still becomes the reigning, defending, undisputed champion for three years in a row. Or two, Fabricio Werdum pulls an upset in front of Velasquez's home crowd and upgrades his belt's interim status to full champion status. Either way, the Heavyweight Title will be unified in Mexico City.

Karl Anthony Towns or Jahlil Okafor, who will be NBA’s No.1 Pick?
Dave Tagacay | | Jun 08, 2015 01:50 PM EDT |
Two things you can say about this year’s NBA draft: 1) it lacks a consensus No. 1 Pick across the board, and 2) the projected top-four picks are loaded with skills and potential, but after them, there’s a considerable drop in talent.
The Case for D’Angelo Russell or Emmanuel Mudiay being the No. 1 Draft Pick
Dave Tagacay | | Jun 08, 2015 01:47 PM EDT |
First, another bit of NBA history. The last time I've heard of a Draft that had its first two teams pickup centers was in 1984. The Houston Rockets and Portland Trail Blazers, both drafting on need, picked up who they thought were the best pivot men prospects at the time. The Rockets drafted Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon first overall. The Blazers, snatched up "the best available big," and drafted Sam Bowie at number two. The Chicago Bulls, took a guard with its third pick. Someone named Michael Jordan. Well, we all know how that turned out.

Maybe one of the best feelings in the world for an athlete, aside from winning a championship, is to continue to prove his doubters wrong? That is certainly the case with Middleweight Dan Henderson on Saturday, as he dropped one of his patented “H-Bombs” to level Tim Boetsch in just 28 seconds into their main event bout at UFC Fight Night 68 in New Orleans.

Dave Tagacay | | Jun 06, 2015 08:24 AM EDT |
Stephen Curry, the reigning 2014-2015 NBA Regular Season MVP, has lived up to the "Baby-Faced Assassin" moniker all year long. "Baby-faced" can obviously be attributed to his youthful looks. The guy is 27 years old and, if you shave off his beard, he can easily pass as someone who just graduated from high school. If you look at the photos of him beside Lebron James, you can even say he looks young enough to be the King's son.
