It appears that the Mac computer is not as safe as many people would believe it is. The flagship operating system of Apple was recently attacked for the first time by a ransomware called KeRanger. The ransomware was hidden deep in the popular BitTorrent application Transmission and infected Mac users when they downloaded that latest version of the application.

Ray Tomlinson, the American computer scientist who invented email and picked the "@" system to be used for addresses, has died at the age of 74. The computer legend reportedly suffered a heart attack on Saturday, March 5.

The app will function much like Netflix wherein users can subscribe and stream content. Subscribers to the new AT&T service will not need an AT&T wireless phone or an AT&T broadband connection.
