HTC One A9 owners in the United States have a reason to celebrate as the phone started to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat on Monday. The update was rolled out over-the-air to unlock models of the HTC One A9.

The Android 7.0 Nougat update is finally rolling out to the HTC One M9, the company confirmed. HTC vice president for product management Mo Versi confirmed the roll out with a post on his Twitter account. Although he did confirm that Android Nougat will be released for the HTC One M9, Versi did not said the exact time when the update will go live.

Google is gearing up to release the latest version of its mobile operating system, Android 7.0 Nougat. Recently, HTC ROM developer LlabTooFer announced that the HTC Bolt, which is currently known only as Acadia, will be the company's first smartphone to run on the latest version of Android right out of the box.

Leaked on the Huawei P9's Android Nougat build showed few changes to EMUI, resulting to cleaner UI.
