Canadian pride Milos Raonic had a good run at the Rogers Cup for the past two years. In 2013, he reached the finals before losing to Rafael Nadal and just last year, he got through to the quarters. But with a recent nagging injury, the 24-year-old struggled and lost in the first round 6-7 6-7 in the hands of tour veteran Ivo Karlovic.

World no. 18 John Isner is through to his fifth BB&T Atlanta Open final after defeating qualifier and hitting partner Denis Kudla with the score of 4-6 6-2 7-5. The defending champion fought from being down 30-0 in the third set and converted three break points out of nine chances to take the match in an hour and 43 minutes.

Though he is scheduled to play at the Rogers Cup in Montreal in preparation for the US Open, the Spaniard will not be hitting forehands on hardcourts anytime soon. Next week, he will be in Germany for the Bet-At-Home Open German Tennis Championships as confirmed by tournament director Michael Stich.

Reports surfaced that Novak Djokovic's Instagram account was hacked by an Albanian group. The hackers, who are known as The 2ATeam, broke into the page of the world no. 1 and successfully uploaded a photo of the group's logo. But the ruckus didn't last long as Djokovic's account was restored recently.
