China Mobile Reports 430 Million 4G Subscribers

China Mobile has revealed that its 4G mobile subscribers grew by more than 19 million in the month of June. The company currently has a total of more than 429 million subscribers, a figure that is larger than the population of the United States.

Commuters and daily passengers going through one of Beijing's subway system will be relieved with a new upgrade the government has pushed through. The Beijing Subway Information Development announced that it has completed the upgrade of its Internet systems and would now allow commuters to access 4G services on the new subway lines.

China Mobile has announced that it has successfully deployed its VoLTE network. The telecommunications company also revealed that its VoLTE network now covers more than 300 cities and supports more than five million active users.
