In an episode to air on Thursday, cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. Mehmet Oz, 54, will address the physicians who have written a request letter to Columbia University asking the school to remove him from his prestigeous post as vice chairman of the surgery department.

Dr. Mehmet Oz, a Turkish-American Cardiothoracic surgeon known for his relentless support for alternative medicine, was called by ten doctors as someone who is a 'potential danger to public' , pleading Columbia University to fire him from the faculty through a written letter, according to Time News.
