Mozilla Sets Date for Firefox OS Shut Down

Mozilla announced in December 2015 that it will discontinue the development of its Firefox OS. On Feb 4, the tech company announced the schedule of when it plans to finally pull the plug on its mobile operating platform.

Tech company Mozilla announced on Tuesday that is will halt the development of the Firefox OS and will leave it in its current version. Mozilla is pulling the plug to one of its most ambitious projects, a browser-based operating system for smartphones.
