There are rumors that the next Samsung's flagship phone will be the Galaxy Note 7, and not the Galaxy Note 6. In fact, there are speculations that the new device in the works will come in two versions; standard and edge.

Since Samsung will host its latest event in New York today, rumor has it that the Korean tech giant will finally showcase its rumored latest Galaxy Note series – Galaxy Note 6.

Good news to Samsung fanatics, as new details were revealed in regards to the specs of its much awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 6. Samsung's upcoming device is said to feature killer specs that may even go against to your current laptop.

Samsung usually unveils new Galaxy Note series handsets at the annual IFA Berlin event which is often held in September every year. However, the Galaxy Note 5 was not announced at the 2015 IFA Berlin but in August of last year instead. Because of this, there are speculations that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Note 6 in July or August of this year which - earlier than the IFA 2016. This could be a good strategy for Samsung who achieved good sales with the Galaxy S7 after releasing it ahead of the iPhone 7 and other rival smartphones
