China Launches Gaofen-3 High-Resolution Imaging Satellite for Civilian Use

China launched a new synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging satellite called Gaofen-3 on Wednesday at 6:55 p.m. (Eastern Time) from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in northern Shanxi Province.

Falcon 9 For Dod Certification Next Month Confirmed

Falcon’s new 9v1.1 vehicle of Space Exploration technologies gets the certification to start its mission under the U.S Department of Defense—as early as next month, June. This could end the conflict on pushing the approval of F9 to fly for defense payloads under the agreement between SpaceX and the U.S Air Force.
