Janis Joplin's Psychedelic Porsche Sells for $1.76 Million

The 1964 Porsche 356 that once owned by the legendary rock singer Janis Joplin has been sold for nearly $1.76 million at an auction on Thursday night. The car covered with a mural that included the images of landscapes, herself and Big Brother, butterflies, mushrooms and skulls.

Rock group AC/DC says it will go on tour next year with or without drummer Phil Rudd, who was arraigned Thursday afternoon in New Zealand on suspicion of hatching a murder-for-hire plot to kill two men.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced on Friday that a fashion exhibit celebrating Beyoncé Knowles-Carter will be debuting where only Hall of Famers were previously featured. The pop star will only be eligible to be part of the prestigious group of musicians in 2022 for her role in Destiny's Child and in 2027 for her fame as a solo artist.
