Urs Hölzle, Google's senior vice president for technical infrastructure, announced Friday at the Google for Entrepreneurs Global Partner Summit that the company is would start its Cloud Platform for Startups program, which would offer early stage startup companies $100,000 in Cloud Platform credits for a year so developers could host applications on its servers.
