Android 5.0 L could come to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy S5 in November. The newest Android OS version does not have an official name yet but it is scheduled for launch in the autumn. No release date has been confirmed.

If Google launches the Nexus 6 with the Android 5.0 L, it will likely come with flagship devices from HTC, LG and Samsung as well. According to reports, the Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 4 are one of the first devices to receive the Android L 5 update.

Google has also confirmed a new automatic encryption data mechanism on its upcoming Android L 5 platform to match with the Apple iOS 8. The Android L update is a major departure from Google's traditional mobile operating system platform. It is now a more revolutionized OS, featuring a fully redesigned UI, better life, 64-bit support and fluid animations.

Google's encryption move aims to prevent prying into users' personal data. The encryption service was offered in 2011 as an optional feature but this time, the company will activate the service across all Android devices. Users can access files and other communicated data if they have the handset's password. Google aims to increase product resistance to government spying.

Motorola confirmed that the new Moto G will get the Android L while the Moto X 2014 will likely be upgraded as well. HTC confirmed that the HTC One M8 and HTC One M7 will get the Android L update within 90 days of the Google software release.
