Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Pre-orders Start, Shipment Begins Oct. 17

T-Mobile recently announced the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is already available for pre-order and delivery will be on Oct. 17.

The device costs US$749 on full retail, zero down and US$31.24 per month on EIP. The phablet comes in white and black.

The previous week, Verizon and AT&T started accepting pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 4. On the other hand, Sprint is set to start its pre-orders on Sept. 26. According to PhoneArena, T-Mobile will offer voice over WiFi feature for the Galaxy Note 4.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a 5.7-inch Super Amoled display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. Under the hood, the device is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor with 32 GB of internal storage and 3 GB of RAM. The device has a microSD card slot that can support a maximum of 128 GB.

The Galaxy Note 4 features a 16 MP rear camera with optical image stabilization and a 3.7 MP front camera, Wi-Fi, LTE, Bluetooth, 3,220 mAh battery and S Pen support. The device will run Android 4.4.4 KitKat and has a different metallic frame design similar to the Galaxy Alpha.

The Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Note Edge were unveiled on Sept. 3 before Apple announced its iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

Apple started its pre-orders for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus on Sept. 12 and shipped units starting Sept. 19. Samsung's carrier partners Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint announced the Galaxy Note 4 preorders last week and the units will start to be shipped to customers on Oct. 17.
