Amanda Bynes Put on Involuntary Psychiatric Hold

Hollywood actress Amanda Bynes has purportedly been booked into a psychiatric facility in California on Friday after recently displaying worrying behavior in public and posting several disturbing Tweets.
Entertainment media outlets have reported Friday that the famous actress was tricked into going to the Las Encinas Hospital where she is currently under a 5150 hold, putting her into a 72-hour psychiatric detainment.

Under the California Welfare and Institutions Code, a person put on a 5150 hold is someone who "make[s] statements that they're either a danger to themselves or others, or gravely disabled."
A TMZ report stated that Bynes believed that her driver was taking her to meet her parents at the London Hotel but was instead delivered to the psychiatric hospital in Pasadena, California where she might stay for as long as 14 days.
Both her parents, Lynn and Rick Bynes, were seen at the facility shortly after Amanda's arrival.
This comes after the 28-year-old former child star accused her father of incest over Twitter and later retracting the accusation pointing out that it was the microchip on her brain that led her to say such things.
"My dad never did any of those things. The microchip in my brain made me say those things but he's the one that ordered them to microchip me," she posted explaining why she posted on the microblog site about the sexual, verbal and physical abuse she allegedly suffered from her father.
Her mother, Lynn Bynes, immediately issued a statement through her lawyer citing that the accusations were far from the truth.
"Rick has been the best father and husband a family can ask for. He has never abused Amanda or our other children physically or sexually," Lynn stated citing that her daughter's current 'mental state' had led to the 'horrible' allegations to her husband.
In 2013, the former Nickelodeon star had been put on a similar hold after she allegedly set fire to their neighbor's driveway.
