The new 14.4.A.0.155 firmware update has been certified for several smartphones including the Sony Xperia Z Ultra, Xperia Z1 Compact and Xperia Z1.

The update moves the build number from 14.4.A.0.133 version which was only available to select carrier devices or the previous 14.4.A.0.108 build which was released globally.

Sony Xperia Z3 also has an update certified by PTCRB with build version 23.0.A.2.108. The official Xperia Z3 software support page said the current available software is the 23.0.A.2.93 running Android KitKat since Sept. 22 while the XperiaBlog said the latest firmware build version is 23.0.A.2.105.

Sony Mobile already confirmed the device will receive the Android 5.0 Lollipop update.

Meanwhile, the Xperia Z1 Compact, Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra also received certification for the firmware build 14.4.A.0.155 from PTCRB as well.

If released, the new update will move the 2014 flagship Xperia Z3 D6653 from 23.0.A.2.105.  The update will move the devices from build version 14.4.A.0.108.

Sony Mobile included Xperia Z3, Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1 Compact and Xperia Z Ultra to the official Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade plans for 2015. 

The official 14.4.A.0.108 change logs are latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat security updates and enhancements from Google, improved and updated camera experience, Google Voice, Google+, music streaming and Contacts improvements, newest versions of all Sony apps and newest optimizations, improvements and bug fixes.

Android 5.0 Lollipop's expected features are Material Design UI, Project Volta, new Quick Settings, Notification Center upgrade, Bluetooth and Internet connectivity improvements and additional languages.
