(Photo : Activision ) Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare might be Activision best release in a few years, but it has not come through the PC launch unscathed.

"Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" might be the revamp the series needs, after the critical and financial failure of "Call of Duty: Ghosts" last year, but it is still running into some issues.

After several reports of Xbox One and Xbox 360 server issues - alongside some other technical issues - PC users are now reporting some varying issues in performance, alongside other general complaints.

This is definitely Sledgehammer Games' take on the "next-gen" version of "Call of Duty." The new experience is fast, fluid and the PC port offers everything in terms of pushing the game to the max level, something that has annoyed some gamers with cheaper rigs.

"Call of Duty" has never been exceptionally optimized for PC, considering Activision makes most of its sales on Xbox. Still, Sledgehammer has shown vast improvement over Infinity Ward last year, which released a dreadful port that could hardly run and sunk 6GB of RAM.

One of the biggest complaints is the lack of dedicated servers. Sledgehammer's Michael Condrey said in an interview last month there would be dedicated servers for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, but was rather vague on the details.

This might mean dedicated servers are coming later or might even come as part of the Season Pass, something that is bound to annoy players. Zombie Mode has already been confirmed as part of the Season Pass, forcing customers into another $40 to get new updates.

Even with some of these problems, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is generally receiving positive critique from reviewers. The new movement system makes the game more dynamic and the single-player campaign appears to be a fine addition to the series.
