(Photo : Telltale) Telltale's Game of Thrones has arrived, rather silently, on Steam for pre-purchase.
Telltale's Game of Thrones has sneakily cropped up on Steam for pre-purchase, with the first episode coming next month with no specific date.
The wait is almost over for many, who want to see Telltale's recreation of the Game of Thrones' franchise. After the success of The Walking Dead and Bill Willingham's Fables, Telltale seems to be able to take any universe in its stride.

Not much has been revealed about the plot in Telltale's Game of Thrones. It will be based around the same time as Season 3 of the TV show. The main focus will be on House Forrester - loyal bannermen to the Starks - who venomously defend the iron-wood.
House Forrester has not been a major house in the TV show or the books. Like many of the houses that dot the Westeros landscape, George R.R. Martin makes a few mentions of the people in charge, but not enough to sink a full chapter into.
Telltale has worked before in the same world with different characters. It looks like this time, Telltale will borrow some of the talent from the TV show. Cersei Lannister, Tyrion Lannister, Ramsey Snow and a few others have voice acted for the game.
It looks like at least one character will wander the lands of Westeros. On the Telltale store page, the creators claim players will be able to see the sights, including King's Landing and The Wall.
Each season of Telltale's Game of Thrones will be six episodes long. The price will remain the same as other Telltale seasons at $26.99. Users will have to pay for the full season and pre-orders get 10 percent off.
