When Robert Downey Jr. says the interview is done, it is done and that is what happened yesterday during an interview with Channel 4 news anchor Krishnan Guru-Murthy in London.
At first the pair appeared to be having a casual chat about Downey's latest Marvel movie "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" but then Guru-Murthy made the mistake of asking the Iron Man actor about his time in prison and his bout with drugs and alcohol.

Guru-Murthy did not seem to notice the side glance the 50 year old actor gave someone off camera and asked "We would also like to talk a little more about you, but I do not know how comfortable you are to do so at the moment." Downey took a moment before answering "You have as much time as anyone else will."
The news anchor again did not notice the sarcasm in the actor's tone and proceeded to ask a rather very personal question. "In the past you talked about your father and how he affected the dark periods you went through with drugs and alcohol and I was wondering if you think you are free of all that..." Downey gave Guru-Murthy a frown before saying "I'm sorry-- what are we doing? Right. Bye" before standing up and giving the news anchor a pat on the shoulder "You seem okay, but this is just getting a little bit too Diane Sawyer-esque" as he removed his microphone and stepped out of the room.
Fortunately, Downey did not go about the day in a bad mood just moments after he left the interview the actor met a young boy who was recently injured and did not hesitate to give the boy a smile and a pep talk.
