The "Anaconda" inspired waxwork of Nicki Minaj at Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas, which was unveiled earlier this month is going to have extra security cover. This is in the wake of "inappropriate behavior" from tourists visiting the museum. The museum has released a statement saying that they wanted to ensure that the waxwork of the rapper is "treated respectfully."

The waxwork is similar to her iconic pose of in the music video. It shows as she poses on her hands and knees. Dressed in a gold bustier and black knickers, the Minaj waxwork sits on an elevated wooden stool. She also wears matching gold bangles, rings and strappy gold stilettoes. She looks on with a pout.

Ever since the waxwork of the rapper was presented by Madam Tussauds in April, fans of her have been rushing in wanting to be photographed with it. While her fans were very excited to see her waxwork, there was also inappropriate behaviour which was pretty disturbing and at times mimicking sexual acts, and also many a time posted on social media. There was one particular picture online showing a man imitating a "sexual act" with the wax sculpture.

Rapper Azealia Banks said that she knew this would be happening. She tweeted that "All ppl are gonna do is go up to that statue and take pictures shoving their crotch in her face and putting their crotch on her butt"

Madam Tussauds said that while they would want people to have an "interactive, immersive experience," they expected visitors would give the waxwork of Minaj the respect it deserves. The museum also apologized for this unfortunate turn of events and had to bring in extra staff to "redesign" the waxwork and the set to make sure no-one got close to the singer.

It took 20 artists six months to sculpt this waxwork of the rapper. It is currently in the attraction's music room, which is also home to a figure of Miley Cyrus on her "Wrecking Ball". Meanwhile Nicki Minaj seemed to be pretty excited and had shared pictures of her waxwork being groped by a man.
