Drew Barrymore was pictured vacationing in Italy on Thursday. The 40-year-old Hollywood actress showed off her svelte figure in a black one-piece swimsuit. She later covered up in a floral printed long robe.

The actress appeared to be listening to some music with red headphone, E! News reported. She was also seen with sunglasses and a straw hat in off-white to protect against the sun. Barrymore also carried a glass with drink in hand.  

The "Charlie's Angel" actress wore a black one-piece swimsuit by Roxy. The long sleeve swimsuit featured high leg cut and cheeky spring suit fit. It lengthened Barrymore's toned pins. The monochrome number featured seashell print and zip-up back.

The Optic Nature Long sleeve wetsuit is the latest addition to the Roxy Spring/Summer Swimwear collection 2015. It is available at a little over $53. Barrymore left her long blonde tresses loose in beachy waves.

Barrymore struggled in the wind to keep her hair and hat in place. She covered up in a flowing, red and white patterned robe as she applied lip balm.

Earlier, she was spotted wearing a grey, short-sleeved maxi dress, which she accessorized with her wide-brimmed hat and a long, gold necklace. The actress carried a big white bag and went whiteout any makeup as she enjoyed a meal with her husband. 

She was also pictured greeting a fan at the seaside resort. However, not photographed were Drew and her husband Will Kopelman children, two-year-old Olive and one-year-old Frankie. 

The mother-of-two has been taking a break from acting for the past year. She is in Italy for the premiere of her new flick "Miss You Already", a romantic dramedy also starring Toni Collette and Dominic Cooper.

It will be premiered at the 72nd Venice International Film Festival on Sept. 30 on. Barrymore and Aussie actor Collette will walk the red carpet at the Sydney State Theatre to not only promote the film, but to help fund research for the National Breast Cancer Foundation in partnership with Entertainment One Films. The film will hit theaters in U.S. on Nov. 6.

Meanwhile, the actress who is enjoying her time off with her husband and children is also working on her new products for her cosmetics company Flower Beauty. She will also release a new book Wildflower, a collection of autobiographical essays about her childhood, acting career and the joys of motherhood.
