United States Attorney General Eric Holder visited riot-stricken Ferguson, Missouri Wednesday to ensure a 'fair and thorough' trial for the Michael Brown shooting.
Holder went to the Missouri suburb to reassure members of the community, which is mostly composed of black Americans, that justice will be served for the death of Brown, an unarmed teen fatally shot by a police officer on August 9. The shooting incident has since then sparked unrest in the area.

The U.S. Attorney General even explained that he understands their lack of confidence and trust among police officers as he has personally experienced racial discrimination in the hands of these authorities.
Holder described an occasion in which a police officer stopped him twice in New Jersey for allegedly speeding as humiliating, citing that the incident had a great impact on him.
Speaking to around 50 community leaders at St. Louis Community College's Florissant campus, the Attorney General talked about the police officer searching his entire vehicle, from the car trunk to the bottom of the seats.
He also convened with Missouri State Highway Patrol Capt. Ron Johnson regarding the maintenance of peace in the area and some federal officers to discuss Michael Brown's case.
U.S. President Barack Obama tasked Holder to show that he is committed to ensure a favorable resolution to the long-running issue of racial dispute in the area by making sure that this particular case is properly handled.
Meanwhile, a grand jury started going through evidence presented by county prosecutor Robert McCulloch on Wednesday.
McCulloch declared that they have a timetable for the review of the case, which is expected to be resolved by mid-October.
Meanwhile, Ferguson was oddly peaceful Wednesday night with only one arrest made. This is a welcome contrast to the generally tumultuous protests and clashes between locals and authorities, which reached an all-time high in the last week.
