Modded money lobbies are back in Grand Theft Auto V Online and are more prevalent than ever, as more and more people are getting console banned and suspended.

Information and multiple reports from outlets including Reddit and GTA Support forums have indeed confirmed that many people are getting banned from modded money lobbies.

"Just had a $19 million bounty in my lobby, hopefully Rockstar will hotfix it to avoid another Moneypocalypse," one GTA player reported on Reddit.

This is very serious business as passionate and dedicated users are actually being banned from playing GTA Online, most even undeservingly.

A report from the GTA Support forums comes from a user that states his friend hacked some money in his account, but because it was done on the users console, his console was banned from being able to play GTA Online.

Rockstar did respond to the user however, stating they've reviewed his account and have lifted the ban as a "one-time courtesy."

YouTube's DomisLive recently talked about one of his subscribers receiving a one-year and three-month ban of playing GTA Online due to "bad sport." He mentions that this could have something to do with the modded money lobbies, and that the subscriber possibly could have been given money unknowingly.

If any GTA Online fans are put into this situation - whether it was a friend who hacked money into his account on your console, or simply winding up in an open lobby where a hacker gives you money - then you may want to go to the Rockstar Support forums to create a ticket and explain the issue.

If you truly haven't done anything purposely wrong, hopefully Rockstar should be able to determine this and essentially lift the ban from your console.
