Samsung Electronics is set to unveil a matching curved soundbar -- the HW-H7500/H7501 -- along with the release of its Curved UHD TV.

The soundbar, which is part of Samsung's "Total Curved Solution," will be introduced at IFA 2014 in Berlin from Sept. 5 to 14.

The wall-mounted device was created to complement the aesthetic design of the curved TV. Drilling another set of holes in the wall and installing a TV stand are no longer necessary, said Samsung.

The soundbar was developed to be installed and to fit snugly under a TV set.

The new audio device, which is compatible with the 55 inch and 65 inch Samsung Curved UHD TV units, measures 42 mm in width and has a curvature radius of 4,200 mm.

The soundbar also provides an 8.1 channel support with two speaker units on each side. Because of this feature, consumers will be able to control the device using the Samsung TV remote control and wirelessly through TV SoundConnect.

Robert King, vice president of consumer electronics at Samsung UK and Ireland, said the new soundbar completes the immersive experience the company is aiming to provide its customers.

"As the market leader in curved technology, Samsung strives to create the most complete home entertainment experience -- whether that's watching the latest 4K content on our Curved UHD TVs, immersing yourself in incredible surround sound or listening to the latest music throughout your home", he said.

Recently, Samsung launched the M3, its newest addition to the Wireless Audio Multiroom line.

The M3 can be controlled using a tablet or a smartphone with the Samsung Wireless Audio Multiroom app. The device is also optimized to work with Spotify, Rhapsody and Pandora.

The Samsung soundbar currently sells for the hefty price of US$800 in the United States, while the M3 is retailing for US$200.
