(Photo : Facebook/Destiny) "Destiny: Rise of Iron" will be out on September 20 for $29.99.
Destiny: Rise of Iron expansion pack details as well as its trailer leaked online ahead of official livestream reveal on Thursday.
The official announcement by Destiny developer Bungie reaffirmed many of the details leaked yesterday, including the video game's September 20 launch for Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One consoles.

The leaked information came directly from the Xbox Store and included not only its release information but also the game's trailer along with other details about the update.
The Rise of Iron expansion pack will include a ton of new content including a new area known as the Plaguelands, a new raid, new story missions and quests, new strike, new social space, new weapons, armor and gear, a new mutant-like enemy faction, new bosses, new maps and a new crucible mode.
However, in order for players to play the new update, in which they join Lord Saladin of the Iron Banner Crucible, they need to own The Taken King and the prior two expansions (along with the original game, of course).
In February, Activision announced that it was already working on an expansion pack due for release this year. In addition, the video game publisher also revealed that a sequel to the game is also in development and is slated for a 2017 release.
Destiny: Rise of Iron will be available at a price of $29.99 exclusively for next-gen platforms and will not be coming to the PlayStation 3 or the Xbox 360.
