The rumors started with a statement made by Shinobi602, an industry insider, during his H.A.M Radio Podcast. "I would expect a remaster of sorts...for something," Shinobi602 said.

The website GamePro.de started discussing whether it is a Skyrim remake that Shinobi602 was referring to. A NeoGAF user named Enter The Dragon verified that the remake will be for Skyrim, saying that "it's true." Shinobi602 and Enter The Dragon were also responsible for the Dead Rising 4 leak.

Clearly fans are also expecting some other Elder Scroll games to be remastered, but Pete Hines from Bethesda has said that a Morrowind remaster is a no go. "To take Morrowind and then to completely rebuild it? It was an Xbox game. To completely rebuild it have it be relevant for today? That's a pretty massive team doing a massive amount of work," explained Hines on Gamesradar.

Enter The Dragon confirmed that the remake will include mods, improved visuals, and all downloadable contents (DLCs). Skyrim became popular on the PC platform because of MODS. Bethesda started MOD support in consoles with their Fallout 4 game on Xbox One.

There are rumors that Bethesda will also unveil The Evil Within 2, Wolfenstein 2, and Prey 2 during the E3 conference, according to Eurogamer. The company is likely to also reveal the Dishonored 2 gameplay during the conference. The release date of the game is on  November 11.

A Wolfenstein sequel was rumored to happen after Alicja Bachleda-Curuś, a voice actress who played Anya Oliwa from Wolfenstein, said that she is currently working on a second game during an interview with Polish TV.
