Huawei has released an impressive Windows 10 2-in-1 tablet. However, critics say that it can still use some more improvement.
The company first unveiled the MateBook at the Mobile World Congress 2016 where it got a warm reception. The first Huawei Windows 10 product is the MateBook, which can be compared to Microsoft's Surface Pro 4, a tablet with an attachable keyboard. While the Surface Pro 4 is quite big for a tablet, the MateBook is light and thin in spite of its 12-inch display.

The Huawei MateBook comes in either 4 GB or 8 GB of RAM with in-built storage of up to 512 GB SSD. It features an all-metal back and all-glass front. The device is available in gray and gold color options. It comes with a fingerprint sensor for Windows Hello. Despite its thinness, it packs an amazing 4,430 mAh battery which can run up to nine hours on a single charge. The MateBook also comes with a modest 5 MP front camera.
The Huawei MateBook features the Intel Core M, which is perfect for entertainment and productivity. It currently offers the 2.2 GHz Core M3 and a 2.7 GHz Core M5 chip, but, according to Tablet PC Review, the company plans to release a 3.1 GHz Core M7 version. There is an optional MateDock through a regular USB, HDMI and Ethernet connections. The cloud works fine but is not always available. The MateBook costs at 4,680 CNY ($699) to 8,030 CNY ($1,199) while the MateBook Portfolio Keyboard is priced at 865 CNY ($129).
