The OnePlus 3 is an affordable Android smartphone which comes with an aluminum unibody build that gives it a more premium look and feel. It features a Type-C USB port with new reversible connector cables and uses the VOOC technology which is said to be a little faster than Quick Charge 2.0. However, it works only with the stock charger. Other chargers work at regular speed.

The OnePlus 3 has a capacitive home button, but its fingerprint sensor works faster and more accurate than others. There are back and overview buttons on each side of the phone, but they are unlabeled and can be confusing. The OnePlus 3 boasts of a Snapdragon 820 quad-core SoC with 6 GB of RAM, according to NDTV. However, critics say the OnePlus 3 does not take full advantage of its huge RAM even after some OTA updates. The device comes with 64 GB of fast UFS 2.0 storage, but no microSD card slot is included.
The OnePlus 3 features a 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED panel which can have a little problem with its subpixels. It does not take full advantage of its AMOLED capabilities as well. When it comes to cameras, the OP3 takes very good pictures in bright light, but the HDR mode does not function very effectively. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with its Android build, Oxygen OS.
It is very close to stock Android, offering a much faster and smoother experience. The quick settings, settings UI and other features are almost untouched. Users can also edit the quick settings and use the dark system UI and the alert slider. However, there are several bugs in the software, and the company does not update frequently. The new OnePlus 3 is available for only 2,670 CNY ($399).
