Motorola Unveils New Moto X, Moto G and Moto 360 with Moto Hint and PowerPack Micro

Motorola Mobility officially launched the highly anticipated second generation Moto X and Moto G smartphones and Moto 360 smartwatch in India. According to the company, it relaunched the brand in 2013 with a clear purpose - and that is to give people more meaningful choices which put them in control of their mobile experience. It is now taking that purpose to the next level by introducing the new Moto G and Moto X smartphones, along with the Moto 360 watch, Motorola Power Pack Micro and Moto Hint wireless earbud.

The company kept the Moto X (Gen 2) ergonomic unique edge design but its screen specs was bumped from 4.7-inch HD to 5.2-inch full HD OLED to match its current competitor smartphones. The device sports a 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 with quad-core CPU, 2 GB of RAM, 16 and 32 GB internal storage and 2300 mAh battery. It also features a 13 megapixel camera with f2.25 aperture, dual-LED ring flash, 4K video recording and 2 MP front camera with full HD video recording.
The Moto G (Gen 2) meanwhile features a larger 5-inch HD display with the newest Android 4.4.4 KitKat powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and 1 GB of RAM, 8 and 16 GB internal storage and 2070 mAh battery. It has an 8 MP rear camera and 2 MP front camera for video chatting.
Aside from the new handsets, Motorola announced the Moto 360 smartwatch with a 1.56-inch backlit LCD Gorilla Glass 3 display. It runs Android Wear OS and ispowered by a TI OMAP 3 processor, 4 GB internal memory and 512 MB of RAM. It has a 320 mAh battery and wireless charging support with dock. The smartwatch has an optical heart rate monitor, pedometer, Bluetooth and a water resistant body.
The Moto Hint is a Bluetooth headset that looks like an earbud. It can access a smartphone through voice commands. It can make and receive calls, send messages and dictate. The Motorola Power Pack Micro is a portable battery with 1500 mAh capacity. It has a 1 amp battery pack that includes a phone and key finder and Motorola Key link. The Hint costs $149.99 while the Power Pack Micro is priced at $39.99.
