Tashi Dor is a peninsula protruding into Namtso Lake from its southeastern corner, in the Tibetan Region of China. On the peninsula is a small monastery and several hermit caves. Nomadic herders frequently camp on the peninsula, and many species of migratory birds make their home there too.

Namtso Lake means "the holy lake" in the Tibetan language. With over 30km from north to south and over 70km from east to west, Namtso Lake covers a total area of more than 1,900 square kilometers, being the second largest salt lake in China. At an elevation of 4,718 meters, it is also the highest altitude salt lake in the world, the furthest depth being more than 33m.

Yesterday, Yao Ming and his wife Ye Li took their three-year-old daughter Yao Qinlei to a school in Changping District of Shanghai. The family interacted with the children. This is the first public appearance of Yao's daughter. Even through being No. 1 in the college entrance examination, it's still not easy to get his favorite girl. Girls are more difficult to guess than any exams.

June 23rd, the Second Famous Lychee Taste Festival was held in Houjie Town, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province. Fruit farmers brought the best lychee grown in their farm. The most surprising part is the "Ice Lychee", a precious species of lychee, was sold at auction for 913 dollars per kilogram this year, which is the highest price in history.
