A Chinese national suspected of killing his two teenage nephews in Los Angeles was arrested in a Hong Kong airport on Saturday morning as he tried to flee to mainland China.

Despite the record-low temperature enveloping mainland China, a fire still managed to break out early Sunday morning. A residential bungalow in Chaoyang District, Eastern Beijing caught fire, the fire department told local media. Firefighters responded to the scene after panicked calls from neighbors at around 3:24 am.
