Japanese car manufacturer Subaru is recalling a total of 78 cars in China due to faulty turbocharger, according to the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.

Due to suspected defects in fuel pumps, more than half a million cars in mainland China will be recalled by three Chinese automakers, the country's quality watchdog announced today.

China's quality control administrator announced that Japanese carmaker Toyota Motors Corp. will recall up to 1,880 Lexus vehicles that were imported to the country due to possible fuel leakage.
