Playing in the Finals is something every NBA player dreams to experience. But obviously, not everyone is going to have a chance. There are so many legendary players who have already retired without being able to take part in the highest stage of basketball competition in the world. Names such as George Gervin, Bernard King, Alex English, Dave Bing, “Pistol” Pete Maravich, David Thompson, Dominique Wilkins, Tim Hardaway, Chris Webber, and Steve Nash are some that would come to mind as superstars who did not get the chance to play for the title. As for the Cavs’ Kevin Love, he clearly does not want to join the list of the NBA’s All-Star underachievers.
