The second season of Nanyang Championship, which is considered as one of the biggest e-sport tournaments in South East Asia, is being hampered by several teams backing out due to a number of reasons. The latest team to announce their withdrawal is Team Secret.

Following the success of the recently concluded Manila Major tournament, Valve is preparing for the biggest Esports event of the year, the annual DOTA 2 The International tournament. As part of the preparation, Valve has announced that six teams will receive direct invites to join this year's tournament.

The new Vulkan graphics API, which was designed to rival Microsoft's DirectX 12, has just checked a new box on its long and still counting list of achievements. Valve has announced that it is rolling out an update for its highly successful "DOTA 2" video game title to support the Vulkan beta API.
