GM China, which operates in the mainland through its joint venture with SAIC, is reportedly facing investigation for potential antitrust violations.

Faced with growing demands even before hitting the market, General Motors has announced that it is ramping up the production of the 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV. The electric car received an EPA rating of 238 miles and stands to be one of the premier competitors to Tesla-branded electric vehicles.

Buick revealed on Monday the first recipient of its Avenir name, the China-only GL8 minivan.
