Jelena Jankovic ended her four-year title drought by beating Chang Kai-Chen to capture the Jiangxi Women's Tennis Open, a WTA 125K Series held in Nanchang, China. The Serb entered the finals without losing a set and continued her dominance against the 24-year-old from Taiwan winning 6-3, 7-6.

There were a few surprises at the Jiangxi Women's Tennis Open in Nanchang. Second seed Zheng Saisai was booted out by Junri Namigata in straight sets and just recently, fourth seed Hsieh Su-Wei was toppled by Chang Kai-Chen. Though there are a few seeds remaining in the draw, it could possibly be a tournament sweep for former world no. 1 Jelena Jankovic who's looking for her first title of the year.

Sam Stosur was on the edge of elimination but after a grueling two hours and 28 minutes on court, the Australian finally defeated Karin Knapp in a nail-biting three-setter to capture the NÜRNBERGER Gastein Ladies with a 3-6, 7-6(3), 6-2 win.

The NÜRNBERGER Gastein Ladies final is all set and Samantha Stosur booked her place after defeating Anna Karolina Schmiedlova in straight sets 6-1, 7-5. The Australian cruised through the opening set but the young Slovak lifted her game to advance 5-2 in the second. The former US Open champion, however, was too strong for the 20-year-old and got her game back to take the match at 7-5.

It's a good day for the Swedes as hometown favorite Johanna Larsson captures the Swedish Open by beating Germany's Mona Barthel 6-3, 7-6 (7-2). This is Larsson's third attempt to win the country's biggest tournament and with the crowd behind her, she finally managed to topple the defending champion in straight sets.
